VARSITY 

Brianna Hafiz

Brianna started as a freshman in Mock Trial as a JV Trial Attorney for 2 years. Last year, she was a Varsity Witness and competed in the CA State Finals! For her senior year, she will continue as a Varsity Witness. She recently placed with her team as an attorney as 4th place in ToC and over the summer reached 3rd place in Gladiator Mock Trial as 1st seed! She is also leading Abbott Mock this year. Brianna is so excited to start this season and hopes to make her senior year count!

Julia Streeter

Juju has been a Pre-Trial attorney in Mock Trial since her freshman year. She won top county Pre-Trial Attorney Award 2 years in a row and competed in the state competition where her team won 2nd place. She’s excited to improve her skills her final year.

Stella Shih

Stella started as a sophomore in Mock Trial as a JV trial attorney. This will be her second year as a varsity trial attorney! She loves this team so much and is excited to compete for one last season!

Jonah Immanuel

Jonah started as JV attorney his freshman year and is excited to compete as a Varsity attorney for his senior year! He's been on varsity for three years, competed in Tournament of Champions as an attorney, and recently received an honorable mention at Gladiator. This year, he's committed to finishing out the Immanuel Dynasty once and for all.

Mira Shek

Mira Shek began Mock Trial during their freshmen year. They started as a JV witness and had continued on as a witness from 3 years, keeping the streak into their 4th year, but now on Varsity. They hope to have lots of fun for their last year on the Hillsdale Mock Trial Team. Go Knights!

Lisa Furhman

Lisa started as a sophomore in Mock Trial as a JV character witness. She was the defendant her first year and a prosecution character witness her second year. Along with the regular season she loves participating in Tournament of the Champions. This year she is a varsity witness and she can’t wait for an amazing season with an amazing team!

Andrea Chivi

Andrea is a senior and has been on the team as a trial attorney for three years now! She was a part of our County Championship win last season and the runner up finish in states as a varsity defense attorney. I’m so excited for more success this season!!

Melody Puls

Melody’s been a pretrial attorney since freshman year. She's excited to start her last season. She had fun doing Princeton Moot Court, winning counties, and making it 2nd in state.

Timothy Villanueva

Brooke Weaver

Brooke Weaver started as a sophomore in Mock Trial as a JV pre-trial attorney for the defense. She was a varsity bailiff in her junior year and is continuing as bailiff in her senior year.

Sierra Hartwig

Sierra is a senior and this will be her third year on the team. She is absolutely ecstatic to spend one last year as varsity clerk with such an incredibly talented group of people!

Navya Sinha

This will be Navya’s fourth year on mock trial, and third year as a Varsity witness. She’s excited for the season ahead!

Riley Hanson

Riley is a senior and a varsity trial attorney. He started his freshman year as a trial attorney on JV, where he spent two years as JV Captain, and has competed in TOC as an attorney each year. He is incredibly grateful for the Hillsdale mock trial team and is so excited for his final year with them!

Olivia De Vicente

Olivia started as a freshman character witness on JV in 2022-2023, winning counties, and competed in the 2023 Tournament of Champions. She became an expert witness her sophomore year on JV and competed as a witness in 2024 Tournament of Champions. She continued on JV as an expert witness throughout 2024-2025 season and attending the state finals with varsity, She competed as a witness in 2025 and won 4th in the Tournament of Champions. She will be a Varsity Witness.

M Thompson

M is very excited to come back for their fourth and final year on the team. M was a JV witness for two years and before becoming a Varsity Attorney last year. They’ve had some amazing opportunities on the Hillsdale Mock Trial Team, including competing in Princeton Moot Court freshman year, participating in Tournament of Champions twice, competing in the state finals last year, and competing in Gladiator Online this past summer where they placed 7th. They’re very proud of everything Hillsdale has accomplished and is hoping to help the team succeed again this year!

Grace McCollum

Grace M is a junior, and this is her third year on the mock trial team, but her first year on varsity! She began as an attorney, but sophomore year became a witness. In her free time, she loves singing, doing musical theater, and spending time with people she loves.

Andrew Altorfer

Andrew is a Junior. This is his second year as a varsity witness, and third year on the team. He was trilled to help take the team to second in the state last year! He also loved being an attorney for Tournament of Champions. Outside of Mock Trial, Andrew is a professional singer, soon-to-be eagle scout, environmental activist, and actor.

Neko Javaheri

This is Neko's second year of mock trial, and her first year as a varsity attorney. She is so excited for another season of success with this amazing team!

Piper Fabry

This is Piper's third year on the HHS Mock Trial team. She was the JV Clerk for the past two years and is very excited to be on Varsity as the Journalist this year!

Katherine Dixon

Katherine Dixon is a sophomore at Hillsdale and a courtroom journalist for the first time, with previous experience as a pre-trial attorney last year

JUNIOR VARSITY

Kalea Kim

This is Kalea's 3rd year as a JV trial attorney. She's excited for another great season!

Ocean Cheng

Ocean started in Mock Trial as a bailiff for the JV team. Since then, she has transitioned to being a witness. This will be her third year on the team, as a witness on JV.

Judy Michael

Judy is a junior and this is her second year as a JV trial attorney. She's looking forward to this year's competitions and team trips, and is super excited for the season to start!

Audrey Barsetti

​Audrey Barsetti discovered her passion for mock trial as a seventh grader during her two years at Hillsdale’s Mock Trial summer camp. She also participated in Abbot Mock Trial during her time at Abbott Middle School. This year, as a freshman, Audrey is continuing her journey as an attorney for the Hillsdale team.

Grace Weinberg

Hi I'm Grace! Im a Junior and this is my second year on the Mock Trail team! I am a witness this year and as well as last year! I can't wait for the season! Go knights!!!!

Gia Belforte

Gia Belforte started Mock Trial her sophomore as a JV Witness. This will be her second year of Mock Trial. Gia loves working with her teammates and is glad she tried something out of her comfort zone!

Nicole Gutierrez

Nicole is a junior and it's her first year on the mock trial team. She's excited to get to know everyone and start competing! She'll will be a witness this year on the junior varsity team.

Magen Zelony

Magen is a junior varsity pretrial attorney. This is his second year. 

Isabella Quiros

Isabella Quiros started during her freshman year as a JV Witness and is now excited to be the JV clerk her sophomore year!

Elaine Franchi

Elaine Franchi started Mock Trial as a freshman last year. She looks forward to continuing her role as a JV witness this year. She is super excited to be on the team again, and to see what new people and experience this year brings!

Kellen Kalmbach

Kellen is a sophomore junior varsity witness in his second year on the team. He a member of the Hillsdale basketball and tennis programs as well. He is super excited to improve his skills and learn more about mock trial!

Ian Chiu

Ian is a sophomore in his second year on the Hillsdale Mock Trial team. He was a trial attorney his first year and will now be serving as the teams bailiff. He likes to cook, skateboard, and hang out with his friends.

Gianna Camilleri

This is Gianna's second year on Hillsdale's mock trial team. This is her first year as a JV witness after being a JV trial attorney last year. When Gianna isn't at practice, she can usually be found baking, listening to music, or acting! She can't wait to try a whole new role this year and make more memories!!

Annabel Murray

Annabel is a freshman on the JV Mock Trial team as a witness. She was previously on the Mock Trial team at Abbott Middle School and is excited to be joining this wonderful team and community.

Tianna Yu

Tianna is excited to start her freshman year as an attorney on Hillsdale’s JV Mock Trial Team. She can’t wait to bond with her teammates and is looking forward to the ‘25-‘26 mock trial season!

Joanna Thomas

Joanna is a freshman and this is her first year in Mock Trial. She is starting out as a witness and is eager to contribute to the team. She looks forward to gaining experience and building her skills along the way.

Parker Lee

Parker is in his second year on the team. He was a JV attorney for counties and Tournament of Champions in 2025.

Mahati Vaidyanathan

Mahati started Mock Trial last year as a freshman JV trial attorney, and will be continuing that role this year. She recently competed as an attorney in the Tournament of the Champions ‘25 and earned an Outstanding Attorney award. She is excited for her second year on the team!

Sophie Spillner

Sophie Spillner is a freshman and this is her first year on the mock trial team. She will be a JV trial attorney and is very excited to be a part of this team!!

Siyona Jain

Siyona is a freshman and will be a JV attorney. She is really looking forward to being a part of the Hillsdale Mock Trial team and community!

Neel Viswanathan

Neel is a sophomore student, and has been on the Mock Trial team as a JV Prosecution Pretrial Attorney, during his Freshman year. He also played basketball on the Hillsdale High School team and likes learning new things.

Ava Rivera

Ava is a first year junior in Mock Trial as a JV witness. This is her first year doing Mock Trial, after being an attorney in the Golding Trial her Sophomore year. She's excited to dive into this new commitment and she's looking forward to all the new and exciting experiences this team has to offer!
